Congratulations Anurag Kashyap!

Anurag

APPOGGIATURA, anyone? I can't believe he won with that word. That is so lame. A word that just about everyone knows how to spell and he wins the national trophy for it. What other word are you going to use if you are trying to tell someone about an embellishing note or tone preceding an essential melodic note or tone and usually written as a note of smaller size? Exactly.

What word did the 2nd place kid go out on? Roscian. The spelling bee went for an astonishing 19 rounds and was quite a performance. What was the key to winning the National Spelling Bee? Asking more questions: "What is the origin of that word?" "How do you pronounce that?" "What is the definition?" "Is that the only definition?" "Can you put that in a sentence?"

USE HIDDEN TEXT!!! I can't believe you just RUINED the whole thing for me!!! That's like Homer walking out of The Empire Strikes Back saying, "I can't believe Darth Vader is Luke's father!"

Haha, that's okay. :) I do look forward to seeing it, though.
