I'm wasteful.

I guess I knew this already, but now I can put a number to it. Based on this Ecological Footprint Quiz, I require 30 acres of land to produce the goods and services I consume. There are only 4.5 acres per person available on Earth. This means we would need 6.7 Earths if everyone lived as wastefully as I do.

How many Earths do you require? (TAKE THE QUIZ)

18 acres. 4.2 earths.

i thought my daily commute was totally going to hose my score, but i think my trusty civic redeemed me there.

we had 11 acres when i lived on the planet oregon. does that count for anything?

Huh? My score was very different from yours....
FOOD 1.2
MOBILITY 1.6
SHELTER 0.8
GOODS/SERVICES 2.9
TOTAL FOOTPRINT 6.5

I'm 3.6 Earths.

Then again it says the avg. ecological footprint in my country is 2.5 global hectares per person
AND
1.8 biologically productive hectares per person.

Doesn't see right. Hmmm? I probably did the survery incorrectly.
