Last night I went with Eddy to go see Franz Ferdinand in concert at the Greek Theatre. If you don't know who Franz Ferdinand is, they are the ones that do this song. If you still don't recognize them, oh well. Anyway, they were great in concert and they are very much British.
The highlight of the concert might have been during the last song when three of the bandmembers were bangin' away on the same drum set! Crazy!
The Greek Theatre is a great, intimate concert location at Griffith Park in LA. We had great seats on one of the terraces on the side. We had a great overhead view of the stage. Here's a view from our seats (apologies for the cameraphone quality):
Stephanie was sick so she wasn't able to go with Eddy (Why is everyone getting so sick?). That's where I came in. Thanks Stephanie for letting me go in your place. And get better soon.
That was Night 1 of 2 for my concert weekend. Tonight, I see Green Day!
