Halloween!

It's been ages since I've put up new pictures of Jack, so here is a photo summary of the past month or so. If you wanna see the slideshow of all 82 pictures, go here. (LINK)

We went to Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach. Jack loves pumpkins!

They had lots of rides and a petting zoo for Jack to enjoy.
Hello Mr. Goat

Of course we had to go see Halloween Time at Disneyland. And of course Jack had to give Dumbo a big kiss.
Giving Dumbo a kiss.

And here's the newest addition to our household...Charlie Brown Hirotsu.
Charlie

Jack loves Charlie...he's even teaching him to read.
Teaching Charlie to read.

And for Halloween, Jack had to be his favorite character...Mickey Mouse. You could just see his face light up when he had his costume on.
Someone loves being Mickey Mouse
Hilarious!

We went out to go trick-or-treating for a bit and then went to the carnival at the park across the street. They had lots of carnival games to play...and Jack figured out a way to cheat at every one he played.
Cheating at the carnival games.

And our annual Halloween party (complete with a Halloween Tree) was great for the kids...Jack and Kyle were both Mickey Mouse! Olivia was Minnie Mouse and Preston was a race car driver. Daniel did a great job dressed up as Hiro from "Heroes," Glenn was a white tiger, and Kevin was "Dave" from "The Office."
Happy Halloween!

Disney's California Adventure Remodel

Disney is just releasing the plans for a $1 billion makeover of Disney's California Adventure. And they spent $1 billion to build the entire park in 2001. They will reinvent the park with a 1920s California theme. The remodel is set for completion by 2012. They will be adding a new land called "Cars Land" with three new rides based on the movie. They will also have a "World of Color" water show in the middle of Paradise Pier. Check out their preliminary plans below. They already have some models and sketches on display at the Golden Vine Winery at California Adventure. I gotta go check it out!

Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States

The chain has been broken.

Obama, the 44th President

It's a historic time in our lives: the first African-American President, the largest voter turnout in history, and the first time we've harnessed R2-D2's ability to broadcast via hologram (Thanks, CNN!).

Help me Wolf Blitzer, you're my only hope.

More fun with Palin...

In case you missed Tina Fey's 3rd week playing Sarah Palin on SNL. She did a great job again recreating the recent debate with Joe Biden. And it has Queen Latifah, too!

And in case you don't have time to watch all these debates on TV, here is a 30 second summary:

Google Chrome

Google's new web browser came out today. I tried it and it's cleaner and noticeably faster than Firefox (you better not be using IE)...and it's Google, so download it now!

Look! No menu bar on top!

Isn't she NOT as lovely?

Someone got a hold of Britney Spears' live vocal feed and isolated it for us all to enjoy. I never knew exactly how bad her voice was. I have a whole new appreciation for the audio mixers. They're genius!

I love the Olympics.

How great is this? Swedish Greco-Roman wrestler Ara Abrahamian threw down his bronze medal after his bid for the gold medal was ended by decision. Great sportsmanship. (LINK)

“I don’t care about this medal. I wanted gold,” he said.

I imagine he must have held back his true emotions. He might have wanted to knock the gold medal winner right off the podium during the ceremony.

I'd like to solve...

Okay, maybe not nearly as funny as the Wheel of Fortune clip from South Park, but this guy got rocked.

People keep watching these movies...you know who you are. If you don't stop, Eddie Murphy will keep making them.

An Outrage !

Just when I was getting pumped for the Annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest coming up on the 4th of July, they go and tarnish tradition. Apparently there's a good chance that they will be cutting down the competition from the traditional 12-minute duration to 10 minutes. Supposedly, they are trying to prevent the occurrence of any "reversals of fortune" as it would be bad PR for Nathan's hot dogs. LINK

Either way, I'm excited to see the great rematch to see if Kobayashi can regain his title after being defeated last year by Joey Chestnut: 66 to 63 HDBs.

The Price is Wrong

Alright...I know I have been offline for over 5 months now, so I'll need to post a serious update soon. But, until that time, let's just enjoy the brilliance of this Price is Right contestant.
